Inspired by Aristophanes’ speech in Plato’s Symposium on the Origin of Love, three pairs of character’s from CAKE’s repertoire return: an unnamed Brother and Sister (Animal Vegetable Mineral, 2005), Hamlet and Ophelia (Ophelia, 2016) and Adam and Eve (A Litany of Broken Prayer and Promise, 2018).
